I miss you so much, you have no freaking clue. I miss your calls in the morning on the way to school and how you would shush me to talk to coach. I miss that you’d call me any time and you’d know I’d answer cause I always had my phone on me. I miss you talking about racing people and me telling you it’s not safe and that you’re an idiot. I miss making plans on early dismissal days and when you had practice late. I miss the walk of “shame” from the bedroom to the bathroom (except that one shower disaster). I miss not being able to sit properly until the next morning. I miss you tugging on my hair. I miss holding your hand while you walked me to class even though your classes were always on the other side of school from mine. I miss the pop kisses that didn’t quite qualify as kisses but I loved them anyway. I miss the way you got upset cause my lips are too small for me to kiss you properly. I miss you getting me upset for the shits and giggles and then telling me you love me. God how I miss hearing you say “I love you”. I miss the way you called me babe or baby or my girl. I miss the way my parents used to talk about you. I miss the way my heart would skip a beat when your name popped up on my phone. I miss sitting in your car and looking over at you and thinking “wow how did I get so lucky”. I miss you telling me to study and raise my grades. I miss how everyone would ask if we were together and when i said yes they’d always say “awe you’re so cute together!” I miss people being jealous of what we had. I miss you telling me to go to sleep early so I won’t be tired. I miss you worrying about me. I miss you caring about me. I miss you loving me. I miss you and your terrible jokes and ideas and opinions and your love for your damn car. I miss us. I miss you.
